While working in state government, for more than a decade these dynamic individuals met and worked in a program area responsible for writing and developing procedures, training documents, and forms. In the performance of that work, they realized there were several gaps in how training was designed and how the end-users were responding to the training. Those observations led to discussions about pursuing opportunities for formal and practical knowledge that could help close training design and development gaps and replace them with carefully crafted learning experiences that were meaningful to all stakeholders. From those experiences and professional development journey, the vision of Alpha Design and Consulting was born.
